Dr. Horecky has been married to his wife, Stephanie, for eight years. They have two children, Myers (5) and Fulton (2). He believes excellence in dentistry begins with a careful co-diagnosis and treatment plan to establish the goals he and his patients will achieve together. As a practice, we are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
Lorie is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. Her passion for dentistry started as a child when she had a wonderful pediatric dentist, and this passion was reinforced when she started orthodontric treatment and knew dentistry was her calling. She started as an expanded duty dental assistant and moved on to a career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has enjoyed every experience and educational opportunity the profession has provided for her.
Lorie loves living in Charleston with all of its history and you can find her at the beach most weekends. She is married with three daughters.
Amanda was born in Charleston and received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2007. After working a job in healthcare for several years, she discovered a passion for dental hygiene and went back to school full time. She graduated from Trident Technical College and absolutely loves her new career path as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Amanda lives in Mt. Pleasant and enjoys exercising, reading, and hanging out at the beach on the weekends. She is a diehard Jimmy Buffett fan and loves cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks.
Meet the Dental Assistants
Christine has been involved in dentistry as a certified dental assistant for more than 27 years. She has held positions in general, periodontal, orthodontic, and oral surgery offices. Her favorite place to work is with the general dentist. Christine enjoys traveling abroad for missionary work and teaching others through her knowledge and experience. Her greatest pleasure comes from seeing her students achieve the same fulfillment she has in their occupation.
Christine grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She has lived in South Carolina for the past six years with her husband and their daughter. She also is the proud grandmother of two.
Kristi was born in Lenoir, North Carolina, and has been a Certified Dental Assistant for 18 years. She became an assistant with the desire to reduce patient's stress during dental appointments and keep them at ease. She has been working in Mt. Pleasant for the past eight years.
Kristi has been married to her husband for 15 years and they love being involved at Lifepark Church. She enjoys reading, being a soccer mom, and spending time with her two children.
Meet the Front Office Coordinator
Heather has 13 years of experience as a front desk coordinator in the dental field. She hails from California, but has lived in Charleston for 17 years where she recieved her Accounting degree from Trident Technical College. She handles the scheduling, billing, and insurance for the office, and enjoys being the first person to see the smiles of each patient as they walk in the door.
In her free time, Heather loves hanging out with her three and a half year old son. She is a very talented baker, loves spending time at the beach and pool, and pulling for the Carolina Gamecocks.
Joy, a native of Charleston, has spent time living in Georgia, Tennessee, and most recently, Germany. Joy recieved her Dental Assisting Certificate and loves learning more about teeth on a daily basis. While she enjoys helping at the front desk and working side by side with the dentist and hygienists, her true passion is assisting with dental surgeries.
Joy has two children ages 14 and 5. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her kids.
